About
Originally born in New Jersey, Sparkle is a certified Georgia peach having lived in the state for more than twenty years. By the age of eight, Sparkle discovered a love for glamour and began sewing doll clothes and weaves for her family. In fact, once she turned eleven, her work was so impressive that friends and church members began to hire her. Those humble beginnings forged the path of her journey to success.
As an adult, Sparkle honed in on her skills by working in a salon with multicultural clients which would serve her well in the future. She invested in her education and training to become an expert in all matters related to beauty. By 2006, Sparkle launched her first salon in Midtown Atlanta. Her work started to catch the attention of local production companies who subsequently hired Sparkle as the stylist for music videos and indie films. In 2008, Sparkle opened her second beauty salon, which is the current home of Salon 422 and S.H.E The Brand which focuses on the lifestyle, mind, body and spirit of a woman, through materials and products.
With her incomparable talent and expertise, Sparkle has developed a diverse clientele.
Whether being named as the image consultant for the Atlanta Dream to handling the beauty needs for cast members on Bravo TV’s "Married to Medicine" or working with Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion, Francena McCorory, Sparkle Hyche’s brand continues to soar.
Sparkle’s exemplary work and influence has earned her multiple awards and honors including... Atlanta Magazine’s Woman of Power and Influence, Phat Girl Fresh Lifestyle Honoree, and the cover of Glambitious Magazine. Her work is routinely featured in Black Hair Magazine due to her celebrity clientele. In addition, Sparkle is a firm believer in giving back to the community. She routinely volunteers her time to support worthy causes such as the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen, Atlanta Children’s Shelter and is one of the mentors for the L.E.A.P Mentor Program. Most recently, Sparkle has been a guest speaker on the campus of Columbus State University for the Collegiate Women of CSU Induction Ceremony along with the Women’s Empowerment Luncheon. Through her brand platform, Sparkle’s mission is to inspire and motivate women everywhere.
